If I were to die

If I were to die
Bury me with seashells
Sing all the songs that we sang together
Outside in the air
Where we still breathe as one
Listen and feel the wind in the trees
Look up, look up at the giant firs
Listen to the birds asking you to slow
Sit on the earth, barefoot, naked soul
Bury me with seashells
In nature, where I know God
Flowers and branches above me
So much peace
Such deep, deep peace
My body cradled safely by this earth
And my soul so very free
